So the grandiose Disney Corporation has purchased Lucasfilm ltd. and plans on making a new set of Star Wars movies.  It's almost enough to make even the casual Star Wars fan cry. However, much like how they handled the assimilation of the Marvel universe (by putting Joss Whedon over it), Disney has made a surprisingly good move: they hired J.J. Abrams to take Star Wars into tomorrow...

Now, some people think this is a bad decision because...

"He's a Trekkie now..."

 "He's the guy who made all those stupid lens flares..."

and on and on the whining goes...

Now I've followed Abrams career for a number of years now and I believe that not only is he a good candidate to manage the new Star Wars franchise, but Disney may have actually chosen the BEST candidate for the new Star Wars. His career, passion, and person are uniquely suited to make something that us CLASSIC Star Wars fans will appreciate.  Here's why...
